The Just Breathe Foundation is a non-profit organization started in December 2008. The organization began after the tragic death of 38 year old Joseph (Joe) Carter. Joe was a Fort Lauderdale attorney who was loved, admired and respected by his family, friends and colleagues.
Joe passed away on March 19, 2008, from congenital lung failure brought about by a rare condition called Mounier-Kuhn Syndrome.
The goal of the Just Breathe Foundation is to support families affected by Mounier-Kuhn Syndrome as well as to raise awareness and further research of this disease.
